Love love love Chocolate Chip Muffins, and it made me chuckle when you knew the exact time you last laughed!

LOL Jen! You see, I was waking my 11-yr old son for school. I'd been rubbing his shoulders and whispering to him, when he turned over to pull the covers tighter under his chin. He saw I was sitting there and said, "Jeez Mom! You scared me." Apparently he hadn't felt my caresses or heard me talking to him. That cracked me up...and I always wake him at 6:05... :))

Thank you for my award Nicole. When you check out my blog, you'll see I, too, have given you the Happiness award. Great minds and all.

I'm so sorry about James. We lost our kitty Suzy, in August and I am still missing her. Even though we do have a new one. There was just something about Suzy that made her so very special.

No tears though. Today is a happy day.

Great answers. :)

I am so sorry to hear about James. I know how hard losing a pet can be. Hope you're doing OK.

Hi Piedmont and Anissa~ Thanks both of you for your well wishes. It's hard to say good-bye to furry friends, isn't it? But you're right, PW, no tears today! :))

Wow, Nicole! I'm so touched! Wow! Thank you SO much for the award. I've never gotten one before. Thank you!

I am also sorry for the loss of your little kitty James. I have my BIG kitty on my lap as I type this. He means SO much to me...I really get it.

You're beautiful and I love coming here! :)

You're so welcome, Erin! And thanks for the well wishes -- it's sad to lose a kitten :(

I love Thanksgiving morning, and it never gets the love that Christmas Morning does. I love hanging out with everyone and cooking good, good food. :)

And I'm sorry about your kitty too. Losing a pet is so hard.

There's nothing quite like that first blog award, is there? It's a bit of validation, and, er... it's also nice not to have to think about a blog post now and then. Congrats! :)

Congratulations on your blog award. I got my first one just a couple of days ago, so WOOT!

And I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. It's hard to lost a little one.

Natalie ~ I think I like Thanksgiving even better than Christmas. When I was a kid, I was in charge of cooking the celery and onion in butter for the turkey stuffing and that smell is one of my favorites in the world!!

Jenna ~ You're so welcome!!!

Simon ~ Validation is so g-o-o-d-!-!

Sarahjayne ~ Congrats to you too! And thanks so much for the kind words about my kitten :(

Congrats on all the awards! I liked reading your answers to the questions, but I was sad to hear about your kitten--that's so hard.

I hope you have a nice weekend. :)
