Contest Announcements!

It's a gorgeous day here in the Altanta area, and I'm spending it outside with hubby and the kids. We were up ridiculously early, for a "day off," to merged with the lighter-than-normal rush hour traffic and arrived at the French Embassy in Buckhead by 8:45 a.m. The three "Frenchies" in the family now have their updated passports for our trip to France in June. Now back home, they have zipped over to a gardening shop to buy a truckload of top soil, and I have a minute to dash off a quick blog post.

Here are some great contests you don't want to miss out on!

Her blog posts are informative, inspirational, and often hilarious! Help her celebrate reaching 100 followers in only two months by joining her give-away. The prize is too good to pass up!! (*wink*)

The fabulous Roxy @ A Woman's Write is celebrating 200 followers with her Blogging Buddies Give-Away Contest. Way to go, Roxy!

Karen Akins @ Novels During Naptime has also surpassed the 100 followers mark. Her celebratory give-away features gorgeous writing supplies and a bead bracelet that matches one she has. I want to be bracelet twins with Karen, don't you?

Noelle Nolan @ A life Rewritten is giving away an Amazon gift card as soon as she reaches 100 followers. Let's get her there quickly! Visit her today and sign up to follow. You'll be making a wonderful new friend and supporting a published author and her platform!

There you have it, some fantastic contests to enter, all of which end in the next week or two (check my sidebar for deadlines).

And, if you know of other contests I can enter and promote, leave me the blogger's URL in a comment. I'll let them know you sent me!

Awesome, what part of France are you and your family going to visit?

Thanks so much Nicole for promoting my contest and the comment. I bet you do feel like an outsider there, you're further south than I am. I've never been to Atlanta, but I visited Savannah and Tybee Island back in high school. Everyone seemed really nice there.

I just finished some gardening. It's supposed to be 85 here today. I love the warm weather. I can't wait until full summer. Have fun gardening.

It's days like this that I don't mind living in Georgia! Beautiful! My in-laws are coming next Tuesday with tools and determination to help me transform the week tangles into a garden. I can't wait!

Enjoy the beautiful weekend and happy Easter!

That should read "weed tangles," not "week tangles." D'oh! ;-)

Hi Nicole, thanks for sharing about your day!

It IS a gorgeous day here in the Atlanta area, too bad I'm stuck in a dark office here in Alpharetta. Oh well, at least I get off at 3PM. Yay.

Thanks for the contest announcements too.

Shameless promotion:

Please visit my blog and comment today. I have a post by guest blogger Justine Dell where she shares an ACTUAL query letter of hers that found success.

She is a wonderful lady, always willing to help another writer and I would really like her to get the recognition she deserves.

Thanks!

Sarah Jayne~ Have a great weekend, too!

Crimey~ We're staying with my in-laws in Vichy, west of Lyons. But, one of the three weeks we'll travel south into Provence, to show the kids the cities where they were born. To say I can't wait is a miserable understatement!!!!

Noelle~ My daughter spent three days on Tybee with the fourth grade. So beautiful there!

DL~ Happy Easter to you and yours!!

Summer~ Happy gardening with the in-laws. I'm "on break" from turning flower bed soil...looking forward to the buds but not the backache! LOL

Matthew~ Only a little over an hour to go 'til 3...hang in there! Justine is a doll. On my way over there right now. Thanks for letting me know!!
