I'm feeling colorful today. I was sitting here this morning, on this terrace, creatively inspired.
Then it got drafty out there on the veranda, so I moved inside to the living room, where I began to write.
Later, I recharged; ate a bowl full of greens with slices of deep red tomatoes for lunch in this room.
And all day long I'll write, and write, and write...
...wander around my big, colorful world and write...
I'm on a short break now, you see. On my swing...
Okay, that's enough, Muse. Thank you. Now back to writing with you...
Hope your imaginations are COLORFUL today, too!
Psst! Don't forget to sign up for the Bernard Pivot Blogfest, set for Feb. 16. Details here!

Thanks for the vibrant colors. It's a snow day here, so my world is covered in white.
Happy inspiration-filled day to you.
I like your muse, she seems really upbeat. :-)
LOL! I want to live there!
Great pictures. I hope you and your muse can utilized those vibrant colors in everything you touch today :)
...And all I can think about is how long it must have taken your muse to highlight those words in so many colors...
you had me until you hit the tomatoes. I am not a fan
Bahaha! Hilariously creative! I love all the colors, the photos and more!!! This was so worth hopping over!!
I've signed up for the blogfest so I'm all set!
A swing in the house...sign me up! Sounds like tons of fun :)
That house would be perfect for you!!!
it would drive me bonkers, but my wife would dig that house.
Woo. I was like, "I LOVE her house". Then I got to the picture of the swing and confusion set in. My very small smart part of my brain siad "Wait a minute. Isn't her profile pic blonds?". It doesnt't tak emuch to through me for a loop. Thanks for the brilliant colors. NowI want to look at house magazines.
I was real jealous of the veranda, I'd just like to go out and not be wearing my entire closet :)

such pretty rooms! Is that the cooking show lady? :D lol! You're so silly~ <3
Ooh, so pretty! I could definitely create something wonderful in a place like that. Your blogfest looks like a lot of fun too.
Oh yeah, Padma Lakshmi is my muse also...
Love the pictures. I would totally live. I showed them to my husband and he thought they were too colorful. Except of course the one with the lovely lady.
Lovely colors! They've cheered up my muse too, lol..
LOL...a couple of those made me dizzy. :) Love it.
Those are awesome rooms! I love the bright colors (although I probably would have a hard time falling asleep in them).
Oh my God - I want that porch!!
Yeah you had me too, loved the varanda and the artist in me loved it, I didn't go much for the carpet for some reason, it made it all look shabby suddenly, but I guess it matched the cieling. Well if I ever get a warehouse I'll know what to do. Yeah the swing and the blonde...
But I had to crack up with Riv Re had to say, with how long it must have taken your muse to highlight those words in so many colors...
Catchya all later...
PS thanks for the comment on the sea video and song on my Blog.
We can't all have Padma's house, but it was fun fantasizing for a little bit!
Ooo, I love those rooms! Bright colors make everything happier. :) Hope you're having a good writing day!
Your muse is certainly easy on the eyes...but she's got nothing on you! :)
I would go nuts in surrounding like those. An overload of bright vibrant colors make me antsy. *shrug*
Oh that verandah would definately inspire me! Lovely colourful inspiration, thank you - we're all crisp and frosty here today.
